Bond’s Vanquish has five heat-seeking missiles, a machine gun and an ejector seat. My test car didn’t. But it did have soft leather surfaces, a plush Alcantara suede ceiling and a supercharge “sport”-mode button that, when pushed, slammed me deep into the seatback and hurled me down the road. I’m sure Agent 007 was as disappointed with the stereo as I was–rather tinny, I thought. For $255,000, you’d think the Vanquish folks could pop for a better audio system.

Tip: So many Bond wanna-bes, so few cars in the United States. Expect a two-year wait in spite of its price tag.
