With its crypto wallets, Robinhood lets users send and receive crypto from other wallet addresses. Here’s what to expect from the Robinhood crypto wallet and how you can sign up for the beta.

Robinhood’s Cryptocurrency Wallet Beta

Previously, only a small group of Robinhood users were allowed to test the crypto wallet for its alpha testing. After a series of iterations, Robinhood is finally opening its crypto wallet for beta users, which is due to drop in mid-January 2022.

According to Robinhood, the beta will include improved features such as sign-posting, explanation of common terms, 24/7 phone support, and crypto articles, which will explain more about what you need to know about cryptocurrency before investing.

Aside from this, Robinhood also mentions its plans to roll out additional security features for crypto transactions, such as a multifactor authentication app and transaction checks.

Sign Up to Robinhood’s Crypto Wallet Beta

For eligible Robinhood Crypto customers, you can sign up for the Robinhood crypto wallet here.

In addition, Robinhood rewards its early crypto wallet believers by moving your spot on its waitlist if you invite friends to sign up for its beta. Once a friend signs up through your Robinhood link and links their bank account, your spot goes up by half on the waitlist.

As of writing, there is no limit to the number of friends who you can invite. Because this program is separate from Robinhood’s Financial gift stock program, you will also receive gift stocks for every successful referral.

To check your spot on the Robinhood crypto wallet waitlist, visit the detail page of any cryptocurrency on Robinhood. Once your number is high enough, Robinhood will be in touch to give you more information on how to try out the wallet.

You can invite other users and check your place on the Robinhood crypto wallet waitlist here.

Add Another Wallet to Your Crypto Arsenal

While there are dozens of existing crypto wallets out there, Robinhood offers an alternative way to transact with your cryptocurrency.

If you’re already an avid trader on Robinhood, using its crypto wallet might mean one less app on your device that you need to install and manage.

With Robinhood, you can consolidate your assets, trade your coins, and keep track of your various investments across categories.
