Yes, if one mediocre halftime show simply wasn’t enough for you, then search your couch for $1.99 (160 MS Points, or 200 Wii Points) and you’ll receive a special recording of the Who’s performance. Check out the songs here:
The Super Bowl-themed DLC will be available for the XBox 360 and Wii immediately after the game. As in the past, the PS3 will receive the red-headed stepchild treatment as Harmonix only promises that the system will receive the DLC at some unknown time in the future. When you’ve got millions of fans all primed up on light beer and testosterone, classic rock and some plastic peripherals translates into a genius move on Harmonix’s part. If only they could stream this instead of the halftime show.
Think you’ll be interested in some performing some Pete Townshend-inspired windmills after the game? More importantly, where do you stand on the actual game, Colts or Saints? Or are you just part of the, “I watch the game for the commercials,” crowd? I’ve got $20 on the Saints, but I’m really just watching for the guacamole. Oh yeah.
