William Hill’s Nevada sportsbook had North Carolina as the favorite at 4-1. According to ESPN.com , William Hill on Sunday took a $55,000 bet on the Tar Heels to win the title at 5-1, a potential $330,000 payout. William Hill also placed $50,000 bets on Kansas at 11-2 and Michigan State at 11-2, wagers that would pay $375,000.

At the opposite end of the odds, eight teams — Austin Peay, Fairleigh Dickinson, Florida Gulf Coast, Hampton, Holy Cross, UNC-Asheville, Southern and Weber State — are the longest shots at 9,999-1 to win it all.
